Equipment and procurement

We source process equipment, spare parts, instrumentation and specialised items to your specification, and coordinate inspection and delivery.

Overview

ENGSL sources equipment and technical items for project teams and for operations and maintenance teams. We act as a single accountable supply counterparty, from specification review to delivery.

Each item is matched to your technical specification. We qualify the supplier, arrange inspection and plan shipping around your delivery window. We source from Germany, Japan and other countries in Europe and Asia.

Procurement can be contracted on its own or as part of an engineering and project support scope.

Process equipment and vessels

Process equipment, vessels and plant components for industrial projects. Each item is matched to the engineering specification.

Spares and instrumentation

Spare parts, instrumentation and consumables for plant in operation. We supply them for operations, maintenance and turnaround work.

Specialised items for field services

Specialised industrial items supplied against a defined technical scope. These include oilfield chemicals for field services work.

How procurement works

  1. Specification review

    We check your equipment list, datasheets and delivery date.

  2. Supplier qualification

    We select suppliers able to meet the specification and timing.

  3. Inspection

    Items are inspected against the specification before shipment.

  4. Documentation

    Inspection and shipping documents are prepared for each order.

  5. Shipping and delivery

    Freight is arranged and delivery coordinated to your site or port.

Between 2011 and 2016 ENGSL procured equipment internationally for chemical plant projects.

Procurement was also part of our plant projects in Norway. Between 2011 and 2013 the caustic soda plant project ran from front-end engineering through procurement and construction to handover. In 2007 and 2008 the carbon capture system for EnPro covered supply, installation and commissioning.
